Tim. I think you will find many instances of GDP and stock prices diverging on a short timeframe.
On a longer-term basis, growth is supportive of higher equity prices. Enough to keep revenues stable,growing single digits. Low enough to ensure Fed keeps rates low. I would say biggest threat to equity markets is an acceleration in economic growth! 10/18/16
