Okay, now I am getting geeked out. One of the most fun and rare times in what I do is when something big happens that I feel in my gut means something, but about which I am not able to come forth with a ready explanation of the meaning (without sounding like a know-it-all blowhard). It’s time to put the thinking cap on and to reference my wealth of experience (that’s another way of saying I am old) and try to figure out meanings going forward.

With the progress we’ve been making on Slope and SlopeCharts, we’ve hardly paid any attention to the appearance of the charting platform. Our designer sought to sex up SlopeCharts a bit, and I’d appreciate hearing your feedback and thoughts on the mock-up below (as always, click it for a bigger version). I keep mentioning that line at 2825, but actually the anchor point of the line, drawn well before today, is 2824.25. Anyway, this morning – – as usually seems to be the case – – the ES went roaring toward the line again, and boing, it was repelled.
