It seems that the lifting of election uncertainty was just the tonic that the market needed. As of this post (written on Sunday evening), equities are exploding higher and getting close to lifetime highs. The NQ is up the strongest, well more than 2% and approaching its peak from early September (see horizontal line):

The Once & Future Chapelle
I was so excited to see Chapelle last night on SNL that I did the unthinkable and subscribed to Hulu (OK, OK, a free trial). What’s incredible, of course, is what a “bookends” moment this was. Dave was on four years ago, following the shocking Trump victory, and he was on last night, following the latest turn of events of Election 2020. Here is 2016 (and take careful note of the cautious optimism he expressed at the end):
