Do I have to spell this out any more clearly? If I panic and dump a position, that is PRECISELY when you should go all-in. I said so this morning. I bought SPY puts yesterday. They went up. This morning, they were down, so I slipped on my Spanx, a kicky skirt, and a pink top, and I dumped them all at a loss. You’re seriously going to tell me you didn’t put everything into those puts? Come on now. They’re up 50% already, and I’m sure it will be hundreds of percent by Monday. Sheesh!
The Director sends me interesting tidbits from time to time, and one item he sent last time pointed out how the Philadelphia Capital Expenditures chart (with the easy-to-remember symbol FR:CEFDFSA066MSFRBPHI) is an excellent predictor of future corporate earnings. Simply stated, stocks are going to get crushed next year as earnings crumble. Booyah!
