As of this composition, the Slope of Hope has amassed over 4.3 million comments during its long history. I’ve started to experiment with what I can do with this unique mass of data, and my first baby step is this new page which all users can try immediately. It lets you see the top comments, and the top contributors, over a variety of timespans. It also lets you click on any hyperlink or username to learn more. It’s really fun, and it’s going to be constantly updated.
I’ve also added another function which analyzes all your comments and creates a profile. I’ll probably open this up so that anyone’s profile can be visible, but for now, I wanted you to see your own and get feedback. You can try it on this page!
I am very eager to hear your feedback! Leave it here or email me. Thanks, and you’re welcome.
(Oh, and two other things: first, don't' be surprised if some of these pages are slow to load; this is heavy-duty processing going on, so be patient, and second, it'll be a while before I do a new post, since I'm driving, so.........see ya later).
