It may sound remarkable, but I only just got around to watching Band of Brothers, even though it was produced decades ago. I absolutely loved it, since, at my age, being into World War II is practically required by federal statute.

Pretty much the only stock I ever want to see go up is SpaceX (SPCX). This week was huge for the company for two reasons: one, they had their first earnings release on Tuesday after the close, and two, starting yesterday almost a billion shares got “unlocked” for trading.
The general supposition was that the unlock would crush the stock price, but I offered the counter-intuitive idea that the stock would actually RALLY in the face of this release. It’s heartening to see that is what happening, although it hasn’t quite reclaimed its earnings day peak.

The eagerly anticipated jobs number came out for what your hero has persistently described as “the hottest country on the planet“. Try to spot the trend……….if you can:

That’s right. A persistent downtrend with the latest month being a job loss instead of a gain. The delta was over 100,000 jobs. So, there ya go. Hot country.
