I don't get it but it's a pretty chart. The part at the bottom showing the date says 2040 though. Is it projecting into the future? Looks like guesswork to me. 11/21/18

It shows the population change within those age cohorts. Pop of people 65+. Shows Japan rapidly aging and population falling. 11/21/18
