S and P 500: I can't help but think that 20 years ago this would have been referenced as a bear market. I understand that the accepted definition of a bear in the present moment is -20%. But overall, the last 3 years was a big old nasty bear, ripping peoples faces off. And... that is a break out that needs to be back tested. 

Posted because there is some amazement that the market just keeps going up.  

Alternative view perhaps. And maybe not a good comment for a bear website. :P
