That level should act as pretty strong support ... if it breaks, I am not sure how low it will go. A longer term chart on gold shows an inverse head and shoulders pattern .... which would eventually suggest a retest of the 1900 ATH and possibly up into the 2300-2500 range ..... a few years out. I have no position in gold at the time, but seasonality wise, September through December is typically strong. 7/18/18
