The percentage of assets (sum of equity, bond & money market assets) in money market funds is about ~17%. Goldman's excellent Matt Fleury asks why this should not go back to pre-ZIRP levels of 25%? That would take a $3.2tn to be reallocated from Equity + Bond fund AUM to MMFs. This is bigger than any buyback bid....

Yep, what I said in my "epic post." Americans are overallocated to stocks, so bonds and/or cash *must* go up to fix that. 2/15/23
