A day like today (with a couple 100+ point swings) is one of the reasons I decided to develop this chart. Before, I probably would have bought into at least one of those swings and had my hat handed to me. Since I got out on the red down arrow a couple days ago, I'm like the dog who had a leg broken by chasing cars... he will not be interested in chasing cars and I'm not interested in chasing market moves unless this chart concurs.  
The chart is starting to look pretty cheesy but I'm not about to try shorting this index. I'm sure there are some short opportunities in other areas but I'd keep in mind that most equities (not all) tend to move in sympathy with the broad market. Actually, I have seen a dog who had a leg broken chasing cars and he was back at it on three legs and holding the broke one in the air within a couple days.... tough guy. Stupid yeah, but tough. 2/1/18
