$ETH vs. $BTC, meme check edition: 

There is a story bubbling around in internetville that Ethereum is going to diverge from Bitcoin and take off to a glorious high. To be fair they do diverge from time to time, so far... 

About 3 weeks worth of divergence in 2017. Ethereum showed up late to make its high. They do seem to move in lock step for their lows however. 

Edit: 28 days between Bitcoin high and Ethereum high in the 2017-2018 peak.
