I wonder if this time it's different. I've thinking that the fed has screwed up the bond market with trillions of their funny money, it's going to take a long time to correct that. I'm not seeing a return to the old high unless the fed does a major pivot.
That old high of 4800 had everything going for it....lots of amateurs, lots of people locked up with nothing to do but play the market, total fed support and trillions in stimulus and QE and probably a dozen other things I can't think of now. 5/18/22
