Taibbi is an interesting journalist. 
Here, someone at Barron's has, let's say "excessively borrowed" from Taibbi's published work at Rolling Stone magazine. 

Face palm! 

Well, interesting reading and a good introduction to deepcapture.com and the corruption in the financial industry that has replaced hard nosed investigative reports with wimpy, suspiciously credulous media "reporters" that are handed their copy and read to camera with unblinking loyalty to their employers and the corporations that own those heavily branded acronyms we used to think of as news channels like CNBC, Bloomberg, Barron's, you name it. 

But don't limit your skepticism to the prime time liars, there's no shortage of would-be people's heroes who are equally suspicious in their rhetoric. Whether it's posts at Seeking Alpha or Motley Fool or any seemingly counterculture identity, there's always the shadow of influence.
