From TheBearCave: In December 2021, Hindenburg Research published on Technoglass and highlighted alleged cartel ties, abnormal related party transactions and found that the CFO of the company’s largest customer from 2013-2016 was a cousin of the CEO.
Culper Research alleged that “recently leaked intelligence memos name TGLS CEO and COO Jose and Christian Daes as participants in Sinaloa cartel schemes in Colombia.” Culper added, “In the past 9 months, TGLS CEO and COO Daes have dumped an astounding $345 million in stock – their largest-ever sales: $104.6 million sold in November 2024, $122.6 million sold in May 2025, and an additional $118.2 million sold just 5 days ago. Investors must ask why.”
