Finished loading one yacht heading to the Great Abacos. Over 10 Pallets of water, food, medical, tarps, tools, nails, etc, etc, etc. Final waiting for generators and lighter stuff to go on the 2nd level. 5 Pods fully sorted loaded at the dock for distribution to the 70 boats that are loading over the weekend. No need to go to the gym after all this. ;-) 
 
Anyone in S. Florida come and help. Many hands are needed.

Dear Friends, 
 
We are all deeply saddened by the disastrous effects of Hurricane Dorian on our neighbors in the Bahamas and are committed to helping with the relief effort in every way we can. We have learned that Hurricane Dorian is the strongest Hurricane to ever make landfall in the Bahamas and in his wake has cost lives, destroyed houses, submerged cars, and flooded streets. Our hearts, thoughts, and prayers go out to all of the people affected by this catastrophic storm and we will do everything in our power to help. 
 
The Sands Harbor Resort and Marina has been in contact with the Bahamian Government and is initiating a Bahamas Relief and Recovery Effort so that we can safely deliver necessary supplies to the region as soon as the weather permits. We have opened our doors as a drop off location for anyone who would like to donate supplies. Once authorities confirm the safety of travel to the region, your supplies will be delivered via a flotilla (a group of boats) to Freeport and distributed to the proper locations, people, and authorities. We pledge to coordinate a safe and effective mission and we hope you partake in our operation. We urge you to review the list below and drop off anything that you can spare. No donation is too small, and everything helps. 
 
If you are a boat owner and would like to be of service and join our flotilla, we would be grateful to have you join our team of volunteers. We will load supplies at the Sands Harbor Resort and Marina and depart together. 
 
We know lives are at stake, and every hour can mean life or death. We promise to deliver these supplies as soon as the weather permits.
