I agree with the sentiment of seasonality, though this is on the boundary of cyclicality as a rationalization for stubbornness.
The image appears to be a frightened man huddled in the conveniently hollow trunk of a tree to hide from an angry bull while he wears a dunce cap. That's an image I think the bears could do well to reflect upon.
