I'm curious what makes you think "QE to infinity" is a factor right now with the tapering in effect. Your reasoning? 5/17/14

QE was great for awhile but i don't think there are too many believers after 5 yrs of monopoly money not creating jobs or improving the quality of life,schools, roads the basic stuff, and the debt going thru the roof, can never repay what's on the books now 5/17/14

Tapering is "stated" action now, long bonds not reflecting that story. However I can't profess an entirely cogent argument, though my gut tells me if we see a few poor employment prints, the fed does what they always do and qe like hell. I am not at all convinced the economy is set to expand at all, that would be a basis to maintain tapering, so the fed is in a very tenuous positIon. Last, I am not entirely convinced the fed is actually tapering all that much, could easily be purchasing through proxies to maintain balance sheet. Just suppositions on my part fwiw. 5/17/14
