GME - Chapter Nine thousand four hundred and twenty two
Somebody over there on YouTube finally got around to dropping an amateur documentary in regard to the short squeeze with some semblance of sanity applied. Pretty sure that won't go over very well at /superstonk, the Reddit home for the upcoming financial armageddon caused by the shorts that never covered. And whatnot.
That inspired me to go look at a chart, cuz why the hell not? These nifty fibbies date all the way back to 2000-2008, and might offer the curious some manner of passing judgment on this monster mania of an event. Also, for chart loving humans, there is an uncanny similarity between the most recent short squeeze and the grand daddy short squeeze a few years back. (not shown) Except this go around was about 90% smaller. The pattern is however a pretty neat echo of what already happened.
For the record I have done my best the last three years to discourage anyone I knew who thought this thing was going to infinity. 50 bucks, maybe.
