It'd be interesting to have the same chart, but comparing Defense spending as % of total budget instead of % of GDP. Would also like to see % budget chart over same time period for Social Security, Medicare & interest payments. I suspect they'd be very revealing as to what item(s) are causing our budget dilemmas. 8/30/12
