Natural gas futures lower during European trade By Forexpros

Forexpros - Natural gas futures were lower during European trade on Friday.

On the New York Mercantile Exchange, Natural gas futures for July delivery traded at USD2.235 per million British thermal units at time of writing falling 1.72%.

It earlier traded at a session low USD2.232 per million British thermal units. Natural gas was likely to find support at USD2.232 and resistance at USD2.486.

US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, rose 0.59% to trade at USD82.82.

Elsewhere on the Nymex, Crude oil for July delivery fell 3.04% to trade at USD82.25 a barrel while Heating oil for July delivery fell 1.63% to trade at USD2.6235 per gallon.
