Nice clean chart with good reversal levels either way, I like it. The good news is this 2 month consolidation should be coming to an end in February, and SPX should offer good trend opportunities whichever way it breaks. Under 1980 initiate shorts with a stop at that level, and above 2046 put on new intermediate term long positions.
