Recency Bias at its finest; the entire left side of the chart suggests that the VIX can go lower; but more so, it can STAY LOW for a very very long time. 8/13/12
"Short at will!" OK, well, all the best to you. I won't say that you can't make money on the short side in this market but you have to be very tactical. The path of least resistance is higher and the last commenter said it best: recency bias to the extreme. 8/14/12
