NASDAQ bearish volume pattern
Why Stocks Are Now Poised To Move Lower (And A Few Stocks & ETFs To Sell Short If They Do): http://blog.morpheustrading.com/3977
Those low volume up days might actually be considered bullish if the big money has already accumulated the weak holders shares.
@Dink Yes, I agree with you. That typically happens when you have high volume with low volatility and price movement near the lows of a sell-off. However, I don't believe we have seen much of that yet. Just my 2 cents...
Like you, and as a long-term bear, those higher volume distribution days are concerning to me, because of how strongly they closed off the lows. Why is it so difficult for bears to get even one higher volume down day that closes near the low. As long as the close is well off the low, should we assume the higher volume is the big money buying what the weak holders are selling?
@Dink Yes, I hear you there. Would definitely be more comfortable with seeing closes near the intraday lows. Anyway, I am only lightly short right now and won't step it up until I get some price confirmation. Good trading to you.
