SPX Daily. This is not investment advice.
Do you think the SPX trend will hold today and this week? Curious...I guess this move has me skeptical to get back long yet...thanks for the charts Dink!
OPEX week + Janet Yellen speech. May be :)
Dimon has a fair argument. But I have a feeling that this time may be different. But I've been thinking that for the last 16 years.
Dimon is right about OPEX week, that can change things, but there is a major inflection point here for bonds (high in prices, low in yields) and that may in turn put a floor under the market. I don't necessarily think the FED will raise rates tomorrow, but I think the market is underestimating the FED's willingness to raise rates. They may not raise them tomorrow, but I expect them to raise at the next meeting after this one. If they do raise it tomorrow, that would be awesome and would be a major surprise for the market.
She will not raise tommorrow, exactly because nobody expect it. She will not raise in July, because of press conference absence. No tight untill September.
I respectfully disagree.I am looking forwrd for 1920
among other things lots of negative RSI div
The way I see it, if this level here doesn't hold, with a margin of error of about 20 points, then I'm with you on your downside target of 1920.
sp500 can't be strong for long while all others (europe, japan, china) is in obviuos down trend. But some pullback highter from resistance is possible.
take a look at $stoxx600, $dax, $nikk, $ssec, usdcny is about to break resistance - http://invst.ly/1w709
But some pullback higher from support is possible. Sorry for my English :)
I am going long this morning, 6/16, at ES 2054 (Sept contract). No stop, but a move below 2040 will make me question the validity of the trade. Initial upside target of ES 2100.
