Cost of living from 1938

Market SniperMarket Sniper
Right at the bottom of the "Second Depression" of 1937. Hard times, TK. 10/4/14
Simple solution. More QE but this time, free houses, cars, tuition, free gas etc etc 10/4/14
I remember a friend of mine having $35.00 a month rent in 1967 for a 1/2 shotgun 2 bedrooms in Thibodaux Louisiana. 10/4/14
Interesting to compare each commodity's price to today. All, of course, went up, but very large variation on how much (eg., milk - about 6x more vs. Harvard tuition). 10/4/14
