Nasdaq divided by S and P 500, since fearless leader is on a ratio binge. Not my idea, The YouTube algo threw a vid at me last night featuring a 70-ish year old man pontficating on what this meant, if anything.

I think he used a slightly different chart because my results here on Slope are different. Might be the dividends added in thing...

At any rate, the gentleman seemed convinced doom was afoot.

For giggles this fine Thursday.

I've done a lot of analysis with QQQ and the "feature" of the huge rally then crash of 1999-2003 dominates the statistics. If you subtract that out you're left with a significant trend.
My wife and I have a joint fund that I run as a mean value optimized buy and hold; it has crazy allocations to tech and their polar opposites, mostly as hedges.

Every trading system I've built for QQQ needs to filter out the dotcom crash or the system becomes curve fit around it.

I suspect any similar crash is at least several years in the future, as hard as that is to believe. 2/15/24
