of course It does not mean that oil will go up. There is high probability that spread between gold and oil will become more tighter in near future. If one have long term investment in gold then one can sell some gold and buy oil-related stocks. If spread become tighter then one can sell oil-related stocks and buy some gold. After this trade one will have more gold despite where prices of gold or oil go. 8/8/16
