Phresh Levels
I guess it could be worse. Still, it’s disappointing that today’s low was literally within 200 seconds of the release of the jobs report. Equities have been climbing ever since. I wanted to show a few interesting price levels I’ve noted. First off, 4050 on the /ES has acted as resistance, with the exception of the post-Powell-speech portion. As I’m typing this, the /ES is trying to fight its way past this and eliminate the entirety of the jobs report drop.

Robust Push-Back
Well this is pretty damned sickening. On the one hand, you’ve got what happened on Wednesday with Powell’s speech. It was a speech. Words. Words from a bureaucrat meant to reassure. Just words. And yet, not a downtick all day. An absolutely brutal, unrestrained run-up.

Well, we’re only 80% of the way through this trading week, and my heart already needs a replacement. As I’m typing this, only moments ago, I was breathlessly watching the /ES screen, waiting for the jobs report to come out. Well, come out it did, and so far, I really like what I see.
