People are worried that AI is going to kick them out of a job. Would that we could return to the simpler era of 1801, which featured such occupations as “Beef twister“, “Fatuous pauper“, and, my personal favorite, “Proprietor of midgets.” I know which job I’d want.
During CoreWeave’s (CRWV) spectacular ascent after its public offering, I read many intelligent and well-researched articles about how insanely overvalued it was. The market didn’t seem to care………until recently. It has already lost 30% of its value, and this looks like a very clean top to me (in spite of the stock having only a few months of historical data).
As big a fan as I am of gold, I’d like to point out that it seems to have exhausted itself for now. GLD has a price gap at 310.31. Considering that the other “anti-dollar” trade, Bitcoin, is up thousands of dollars to a record high, this is a pretty dismal performance from gold. Shorting GLD with a tight-stop seems like an intriguing risk/reward ratio.
Crude oil’s massive right triangle is still intact, and this morning crude is weakening, down about 1.5%.
