My virtual trading account here on Slope has become absolutely bananas. Over the past few months, I have built what started as a $100,000 account into a $5 billion account with utterly unrealistic trades, but it’s been a fun ride nonetheless. At this point, I can literally have a multi-billion dollar loss overnight. As shown in the equity chart below, I’ve lost over 50% of my entire account, which feels an awful lot like what my vastly smaller account is experiencing since Monday (AKA the great crash of 2021). I vow to you: this account shall rise again!

On another totally unrelated personal note, my weight loss has been a 10-pound success, but I don’t think I’m going to be able to muster much past this. (Irving Fisher’s ghost declared it a “permanently low plateau.”) Let’s see if I can manage to avoid fattening up once swimming season is gone and holiday cookie season is upon us.
