For the entirety of this week, my portfolio positioning is going to be deliberately very, very light. When I’m at my most aggressive, my commitment level is 230%. Right now? 53%. It feels like being in all cash.
The reasons? Two of them.
One, this market is goddamned insane, and it’s driving me into the same condition. Just this morning:
Two, later this week I’ll be traveling with my family to watch out youngest child graduate from Duke. I would prefer to enjoy this once-in-a-lifetime event without looking at the stupid /ES quotes every four seconds. So, I’m giving myself a partial trading vacation.
The good news for you is that the market is GUARANTEED to collapse this week, since I’ll be so uninvolved. So, you’re welcome for that.
