The younger they are, the more they want to work from home. I’m not here to judge. I was way ahead of the curve and have worked from home virtually my entire life, as well as continuously since 2009.


Geographic descriptors in the U.S. are subjective things. “Midwest” for example is anchored to a time in history when the most westward part of the U.S. was the Mississippi River, so Illinois (which to my eyes is wayyyyy out east and a four-hour plane ride) is considered “Midwest“. So too is the “South” unclear. To me, the idea that Arizona or Pennsylvania would be considered part of the South is absurd. Hell, I even consider my home state of Louisiana to be kind of on the fringe. Anyway:
