I was wondering why my Imbruvica seemed so expensive! (Who comes up with these names?)

I probably visit my local Whole Foods about two or three times a week. It isn’t a particularly large store, but it’s close to home and has what I need. I’m so familiar with it, I actually had an entire chapter in my novel that’s set there.
A couple of weeks ago, I just had to pick up a couple of items, so I went to a larger market called Cardenas in East Palo Alto, which is much more of a working-class store as opposed to the frou-frou Whole Foods. I was puzzled to see at the front an a poster advertising an app you could use to finance the groceries you were about to buy. I had never heard of such a thing, but it’s just representative of where our country is heading: scumbags like Bezos send their ho’s into space for eleven minutes, just for the hell of it, while common working people actually have to borrow money to get some food.

Greetings from Northern California!

Long-time readers are acquainted with the fact I’m not fan of government. I’m not speaking of the present government in particular; I am referring instead of government in general. The reasons are multitudinous and varied, but instead of going through those, allow me to share the front page of our little hometown paper, Palo Alto’s own Daily Post.
