This is kind of surprising. I figured California would be the most awful, but it isn’t. I will mention, as an aside, that my monthly utility bill for my house is consistently about $1200, whereas the utility bill for a house in North Carolina we own is about $35, and seriously, I have NO idea how that is possible.
