Energetic Uptrend
Earlier this year, I was a big fan of energy shorts. Simply stated, the trades rarely worked, and a couple of months ago, I pretty much threw my arms up at the whole sector. I’ve got to say, looking at the continuous contract of crude oil, the massive top might never complete. It got close, but no cigar.

Fourteen Years GONE!
The rise and fall of Hawaiian Electric is a sight to behold .From 2009 through mid-2023, it climbed slowly and steadily. (Keep in mind, SlopeCharts includes dividends, which is an important part of any utility investment). In a matter of days, THOUSANDS of days of growth were laid waste, thanks to the inept behavior of the company which led to unimaginable death and disaster.
