OK, fine, a bullish play for a change. May I offer to you Roku, which has a nice clean price gap and a well-formed basing pattern. Even I like this one!

Perhaps you read that Penn Gaming, which paid $551 million to buy Barstool, has decided to GIVE IT BACK to David Portnoy for nothing. Pretty good deal for Dave, eh? This was a perfect gap-fill on the news:

Yet another earnings report from Thursday yields an interesting chart. Check out the importance of gaps in sweetgreen (ticker SG). The price gap on the left defined the price peak of the recent rally, and the more recent price gap will, I think, offer support during its tumble today.
The Intel Reversal
The big earnings report yesterday evening was Intel, and it did not disappoint the bulls. It went ripping higher. I would point out, however, that its high price merely matched its price gap as well as the high earlier this summer. In other words, the resistance line I’ve drawn matters.
Alphabet’s New Ceiling
The price gap wasn’t quite filled, but good enough for government work.
