In spite of this stupid market soaring to lifetime highs every day, I’m doing all right. I’m up 1% now in my all-short portfolio, and one of my winners is Arcadia Realty (symbol AKR):

Just doing my usual looking-at-hundreds-of-charts routine that I go through each morning. Here’s one that stood out as a prospective short: Acadia Realty Trust (symbol AKR). I think I’ll short it with a stop-loss price of 27.79:

Depending on where you live in the country, you may or may not have any knowledge about Chinese superstition with respect to numbers. . I’ve got a passing understanding of it, which is why real estate ads like these (which I just tore out of the morning paper) strike me as intended for Asian buyers here in the SF Bay Area.
