I'm not sure if Paris Hilton is singlehandedly propping up the retail economy, but the fact RTH is still so high is surprising. The withering volume is interesting, nonetheless.

Retail RTH Short
I tilted at this windmill a few times this summer without success. In spite of that, I put in my largest position on Friday on RTH based on this retracement. My stop is at $90. I am short 2,900 shares.
Time to Try Shorting Retail?
My attempts to short RTH have, in the past, been money-wasters. I've shyed away from RTH for a while, since I'm not a masochist. But something about a 9.7% unemployment rate………
……..and a chart showing a very robust retracement to the underside of a huge broken trendline……….
…….makes me think maybe this could work out for RTH bears for the balance of the year.
Still Like RTH as Short
I'm so sorry to interrupt the bullish festival, but I must say again, I still really like RTH on the short side.
