A Bit of Patience

Days like last Thursday and Friday can be intoxicating, but it's important to step back and take a look at the bigger picture. For myself, as I mentioned Friday, I scaled back on my largest shorts, went long precious metals (which I closed earlier this morning), and am currently mostly in a bunch of short positions plus a handful of oversized long positions (DIA, DIG, DBC…….again) to balance things out.

What I'm anticipating is, thanks to the trifecta of news Wednesday (State of the Union, the Jesus Tablet, and FOMC) a potential bounce to, oh, about 1125 or so. Should something approximating this transpire, I am going to change from a Bear/Bull hybrid to a Pig/Bear hybrid.

Getting Ready to Rumble (by Nathaniel Goodwin)

Thursday afternoon, mom came up to me and asked if I could spare a few dollars to help get Ted out of jail. I told her that I had gone all in FAS and TNA earlier in the week, and my account blew up. LOL!

Mom bought it until Friday afternoon. Grandma and I started celebrating the weekend early, sipping whiskey while munching on Andy Capp's Hot Fries. All of a sudden that wild drop happened Friday afternoon, grandma pumped up the jams and I started fist pumping like I was on the Jersey Shore. Mom came in and was like, "What the hell are you two so excited about?" She checked out my computer as I started vomiting Hot Fries and Wild Turkey all over the room.

Mom said I owed her $1500 to clean the carpet, but grandma cleaned up the mess and mom kept the money to bail out Ted. Oh well, the Fiero will have to wait a little longer. The thing that really pisses me off is that Ted's friend Brew might be staying with us for a while.

On Sunday; I got focused and began sharpening my shurikens because I don't trust those two dudes, and will toss one in Brew's stomach in a heartbeat if needed. I then pulled up my "Death Sai Chart", which I had not looked at in a while. I discovered that I may need to sharpen up the angles of this chart also, and here is what I came up with.

Saisofdeath

I know a lot of bulls who didn't buy this dip, and are dying right now for a bump up to sell their longs. I'm looking for a bump up to buy back some of the shorts I sold Friday afternoon. Things will probably get real interesting right now, and it wouldn't surprise me at all if we don't get much of a rally at all (screwing both those that want to go short and those that want to sell their longs). If we do rally, I will short it.

Right now I'm going to go set off a box of Ted's fireworks the 5-O didn't find in the basement before Ted gets released. Good luck this week.
