As some of you may remember, back on December 23rd, for about the first ten minutes of the trading session, every data feed on the planet had the Russell 2000 just plain wrong. The data was totally screwed up. However, since charting companies consider the data feed to be the Word of God, they aren’t inclined to change it. Thus, the likes of big boys like Yahoo Finance and StockCharts still look like this:
Now I don’t have the kind of “pull” that I used to when I was a SVP at the company (since, umm, now I’m just a nobody again), but I do have enough contacts at Ameritrade to beg and plead my way into getting a data point fixed. And thus, I present to you, the one and only usable Russell 2000 chart on the Internet. ProphetCharts users, you are welcome.
