Contributed by Vittorio: In a recent header post, (Untethered), Tim suggested we read an article. He stated it would take approximately thirty minutes to read. I did not see that as anything more than a courteous signal of what a viewer could expect in their preparation to see to it that this article was to be read.
It was that important, (to Tim), that he would go so far to, (subtlety), ask us to take out the thirty minutes of our time above and beyond. So I quickly drew within my own mind and did a quick calculation and set an hour aside to read the article. While I could understand to the fullest the author’s intention, I could see, even, he doesn’t know exactly what’s around the corner regarding the crypto trade at large. Suffice to say, he was nervous and anxious about his own bank transfer wire coming through. Suffice to say, Tim also heeded the foreboding consequences that could await a crypto investor and took similar action.
Now in an attempt to get some significant points across, simply take into consideration one of my favorite slogans. “A Bird in the Hand is Better Than Two in the Bush.” @Buccaneer’s buying to close many of his Credit Spreads at a dime, (.10), comes to mind. Seeing either profit or stop loss and the exclamation- “Don’t stare at it!” certainly, also, comes to mind. Lastly, ‘Pigs get Slaughtered‘ should just about gets the point across.
Perhaps I have your attention and could now segue to the intent of my post.
There are a series of steps in a learning process that can be expressed as follows: Hearing and Listening, (whether through reading or sound), understanding, comprehension and lastly remembering. Ultimately, through this process the purpose can be defined as anything from a simple interest to learn and, or, a more serious interest to do something with the knowledge.
Yet the true point of my intentions here is to make some, perhaps, helpful tips along our way in the learning process. First and foremost the learning part should be in and of its lonesome self enough. Put the pot of gold and any notion of how rich you will become aside.
We are not exactly a streaming futures trading room where confluent areas of business are shared in a ‘here and now‘ dynamic space; yet, we do seem to hit it every now and again. I’m 100% convinced that most of the time in the heat of the market engagement amongst Slope Traders, there is rarely time to pick up the necessary confluent information in a split second timely fashion.
Most of the time, I see it as trade styles of varying degree and method generously being expressed and shared. I absolutely believe that because something is there to be shared it is within the blessed human nature that we share it. I believe that if you learn, you have already achieved enough and deserve further results. Yet be careful!
So let me simply make a couple suggestions in navigating each and every one of you Slopers through how to consider processing the comments section of this blog. These suggestions are obviously not for the many of us that already do this but I felt it important enough to make the suggestions nonetheless.
It boils down to this one simple suggestion:
Call it The Slope Copy, Paste, ‘Save As’, Title and Print Reference Material Process.
Simply, ” Don’t Just Stare At It!“
When you pick up a vibe that matches what could be of your interest begin to mouse down below beginning with the time stamp and copy, paste, save as and print some good ole’ bed time reading. Be sure to include the name of the author.
Print sections of it at, (type size), ’24’ and take them along with you on hikes. Read them on peloton bikes. I like how that rhymes. Makes me remember the sun shines.
Personally and currently, I have 12 pages of recent ‘Copy and Paste‘ material garnered beginning just 7 weeks ago…I know this because of the time stamp I included. There are eight Slopers in my most recent Copy and Paste and I’d like to note that they are all included specifically for their trade method and technique of trade execution. Realize, though, from my selfish interest, I too, tend to understand these fine folks as personalities I like as people too. Imagine that!
The time stamp is a key inclusion to the Copy/Paste as it guides you to visual reference points on charts specific to that post.
What you have learned you will have to learn again as it will constantly change via your growth and the dynamic in front of the purpose for all this.
If you never make a nickel, consider this. I know people will spend a great deal of their time challenging their minds through many positive activities. Luminosity comes to mind. Classic books and all sorts of healthy activities comes to mind.
Simply, learning what it seems within your heart and soul is worth perusing no matter how unrecognizable it is. And putting a time stamp on that part of it is truly unnecessary. Give it the time you are blessed with. Yet if your heart, mind and soul are fed, perhaps, just perhaps one day it could be more.
