Yikes. It’s pretty clear already that the Tokyo Olympics is going to be pretty much a train wreck, particularly since – – – well — no spectators. It sort of takes the thrill away, wouldn’t you say? And yet its the most expensive in history. Something tells me some serious red ink is forthcoming.
(more…) When I was in college, the bottom-of-the-barrel last choice thing to eat, if one was absolutely desperate and had no alternative, was Domino’s Pizza. Cheap ingredients made for the worst pizza imaginable. Yet it’s clear they’ve managed to get their act together, because this stock is absolutely jaw-dropping (symbol DPZ). If you had only invested $1 billion back in 2008, you’d have one-fifth of a trillion dollars now. Loser!
