Oat-based milk maker Oatly (symbol OTLY) went public a couple of months ago, and they’re not exactly setting the world ablaze (although I will note it’s always sold out at Whole Foods here in my fair city).

Slope initially began as a blog, so this is where most of the website’s content resides. Here we have tens of thousands of posts dating back over a decade. These are listed in reverse chronological order. Click on any category icon below to see posts tagged with that particular subject, or click on a word in the category cloud on the right side of the screen for more specific choices.

I have long held that gold would be driven by USD/JPY, and at the start of this calendar year, it was looking very promising for gold, because the US dollar (one kind of toilet paper) was becoming more worthless than the Japanese Yen (another kind of toilet paper). I’ve marked this point with a green arrow. However, the US toilet paper has appreciated handsomely against the Japanese variety, so much so that a bullish breakout has transpired (green circle).

Day by day, the crypto world continues to move with delightful deference to the charts. It’s absolutely remarkable. I remain nothing more than an interested bystander at this point, waiting for a range break, and still holding the hunch that eventually BTC $20k will be met.

As proud as I am of what we’ve created here on Slope, there was one aspect of the site which always caused me to look the other way and mumble incoherently: the streaming charts. The fastest they could go is updating every 5 seconds, and even that was kind of dicey. Well, we’ve reworked this from the ground up, and now we have true streaming charts for both equities as cryptocurrencies. In the Preferences dialog, you should see a new selection under the General tab for Streaming refresh, and I’d love you to give it a whirl. (We are updating the entitlements today so the old dropdown goes away and all paying members get streaming, but even now, I think any subscriber can access it).
