Slope initially began as a blog, so this is where most of the website’s content resides. Here we have tens of thousands of posts dating back over a decade. Let me explain the two adjectives. The first, “busy”, is because not only will we surely be dealing with the reverberations of the thunderbolt that struck on Friday morning, but there are a lot of scheduled events, including multiple speeches by Pencil Dick.
The “weird” is in my personal life. I may have some unexpected (and bizarre) travel from Thursday to Sunday. That remains to be seen. Whether I do or not, believe me, there’s a forthcoming post about the entire experience.

I wanted to love it. I honestly did. I’ve looked forward to the new Beatles movie for MONTHS. But, Jesus H. Christ on a pita biscuit, I watched the first two hours on Thanksgiving, and I was simply embarrassed. Watching a bunch of people chat and bicker gets old really, really fast. Maybe the rooftop concert will be worth it. But I doubt it.
