After getting absolutely wrecked in 2022, small caps spent about a month, starting January 6th, roaring to life. Some of them threw off triple-digit percentage gains. Over the past week, however, they seem to have lost their mojo, as illustrated by the /RTY futures. I’ve circled the lower highs that have taken place since last Thursday.

This is a video worth watching (I would suggest you do as I did and bump up the playback speed to 1.75). I touch on these topics quite a bit in my new book, and this is the kind of massive change coming (vastly more important than the ridiculous ChatGPT hype) which almost no one is talking about.
Well, folks, it isn’t exactly an electric morning. The only news of note, and it’s fairly middling at that, is the unemployment claims, which came in somewhat higher than expected.
