The Hall of Fame Returns!
The community here at Slope is its heart and soul, and there’s a page dedicated to the leaders of that community. We have made some improvements to this page, including cleaning up the avatars and, importantly, eliminating me from the lists (since it’s kind of silly for me to be included). I know some of you have been waiting a long time for this one. Planet Fitness finally took a hard tumble, and if it ever crosses that horizontal, it’ll finish up a monster top.
The Main Non-Event
Whoop dee freakin’ ding dang doo.
The most important earnings announcement of the entire quarter has come out, and it’s a total snoozer. Apple (AAPL) is seeing its stock price absolutely explode to prices not seen since……….yesterday afternoon.
If it weren’t for the fact that they just announced a desperate $90 billion stock buy-back, to counter the fact that their business is literally SHRINKING now, I’m sure you’d be seeing red instead of green.
