I was looking at the economic database (available to premium members) and stumbled upon the odd symbol FR:ANXAVS which is described as “Value of Shipments” (defined in detail here). This spans decades, and the relatively steady up/down pattern is clear to see, in spite of all the Fed’s best efforts to strangle the life out of natural economic cycles:
This is just pathetic. The entire day has been spent in a range so small that you’d need an electron microscope to see it. 5 freakin’ points on the /ES incorporate almost all trading activity. Good Lord.
Maybe this will help the NASDAQ finally flip.
It’s comic to me that considering:
……..that the top concern everyone is breathlessly waiting for news on is whether the CPI is 5.0% or 4.9%. I mean, who give’s a rat’s ass? It’s like getting terminal cancer and being focused on a paper cut.
