I went ahead and bought Rivian (RIVN) this morning at $19.61 with a stop-loss at $18.25. I really like the look of this base, and I gotta tell ya, I’m seeing Rivians everywhere I turn these days.

These are listed in reverse chronological order. Remember in the late 1980s how it was a foregone conclusion that Japan was going to shove aside the U.S. as the world’s top economy? I wrote a long chapter about it in my Panic book. Anyhoo:

I got a late start on this last day of the year thanks to little Mishka, whose DNA results I just got. I figured she was a backyard mutt, albeit a cute one. Nope. She’s a purebred. 100% Siberian Husky. May Heavenly Father give me strength and abide by me.
In any case, the little runt has me up at 2 and 4 in the morning pretty regularly, which means me leaping out of bed at 5 a.m. as I normally do just ain’t gonna happen. Now that I’m here, I’ll bang out a quick post with respect to the massive top I’m watching on /NQ. I’m glad I missed the open, actually, because I would have been really pissed at the fight-back rally early on. By the time I ambled in here, the magnetic pull of that line was in full force.
