Slope initially began as a blog, so this is where most of the website’s content resides. Here we have tens of thousands of posts dating back over a decade. This evening, palladium briefly sold off hard, then just as suddenly, it rocketed higher. As of this moment, it’s up almost $100 per ounce and over 5%, extending what has been a sensational run in my best chart call of the year.

As I do at the end of every calendar year, I have gathered together what I consider the very best posts of the thousands that have been penned this year. There are so many, I’ve broken the list into ten parts, with one to be published each day.
Here are today’s:
I write for a living. I can usually write about just about anything. But holy Lord, this has got to be the most uninteresting and uninspiring market in history. If I had any sense, I’d put up a “Gone Fishin‘” sign on Slope’s homepage and come back on January 5th. But over almost twenty-one years, I’ve never taken a vacation, so I suppose I’ll just trudge along, albeit with way fewer posts. Anyway, here’s the /NQ, which over the span of twenty hours moved precisely (checking notes……..) dick.
